Deborah Korman joined the firm in 1998. Deborah’s practice focuses on all aspects of real estate law, including the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial properties. She works on transactions in many parts of the country with clients from a large institutional investor to small companies.Representative Matters
- Represents large institutional commercial and residential property owner and manager in transactions involving purchases of multi-family residential apartment complexes and industrial warehouse space throughout the Country, financing of such acquisitions though direct loans or via assumptions of existing loans (including HUD loans), re-financing of existing properties and disposition of properties.
- Represents major accounting firm in leasing matters including leases, subleases and termination agreements.
- Represents large university in the acquisition of buildings in New York City and in leasing matters.
- Represents various small and mid-size companies and investment firms in leasing matters.
