Amol Pachnanda is a member of the Real Estate Group with a focus on commercial real estate law and finance transactions.
Amol concentrates his practice in representing landlords and tenants in their leasing of space nationwide. He understands the issues facing landlords and tenants in large and small-scale leasing for office and retail uses and as a result is able to achieve the desired results for his clients in an innovative and cost-effective manner. Amol also has experience in representing clients in the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial and multi-family properties throughout the United States. Since 2005, Amol has represented a U.S.-based company in all of its office leasing activities in India, totaling approximately 3 million square feet.
Amol frequently lectures and gives CLE presentation on various leasing topics. Recently, he was a speaker at The National Retail Tenants Association annual meeting on the issues facing tenant in International leasing transactions and he presented a CLE entitled "Don't Forget the Dirt! Leasing and Real Property Issues Not to Be Missed in Corporate Transactions" at the New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Amol was recently named to the 2013 & 2014 New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars List and the 2015 Super Lawyers List.Representative Matters
- Represented a national investment boutique in the leasing of its headquarters, totaling approximately 280,000 square feet.
- Represented a financial services firm in the leasing of its global headquarters, totaling approximately 500,000 square feet.
- Represented a real estate investment management company in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of multifamily residental and commercial properties.
- Represented a national fashion retailer in the majority of its retail leases in the United States.
